Drive to Bhavnagar enroute visiting Lothal & Valvader to see the Archaeological Museum and Black buck sanctuary. In Lothal excavations have brought to light an ancient port complete with dockyard measuring 218 x 37 metres connected to sea through river Bhagava. Streets laid out in chess-board pattern, dividing the town into many blocks, houses with bathrooms and underground drainage system are identical to the ones found at Mohanjodaro and various arts and artifacts are the interesting features of this place. Excursion to Palitana Jain temples. Palitana is one of the most scared sites of Jainism. The temple dedicated to Shri Adishwara, the first Jain Apostle, is the most sacred. The Four Faced Temple enshrines a quadruple image of Adinath. A fantastic collection of temple jewels can be seen during the deity adorning ceremonies at the Shri Adishwara Temple.
